Our Bed & Breakfast is situated in the heart of the French Countryside but only minutes away from the golden beaches of the Cotentin coast and the landing beaches of the Seconfd World War.It is the most enchanting part of France,very rich in History from William the Conqueror in Barfleur to the D Day Battles.

The area can provide something new for every visit.Whatever it is that you are looking for,be it the historic architecture, the local cuisine or just the scenery , this part of Normandy has it all.

Valognes ten minutes drive away has a wonderful country market every week.There is a swimming pool and it is famous for it's Cider Museum.

Cherbourg is 20minutes away with it's Hypermarkets, Art Galleries and interesting shops.

St.Vaast La Hougue is very attractive and full of interest.There are three Galleries and lots of Restaurants including the famous 'Fuchia Hotel.

The harbour is beautiful and a constant source of fascination.There are beaches and many walks.Offshore there is the nature reserve of Ile de Tatihou.

The beach at Jonville is south facing with lots of rock pools,ideal place for windsurfers.Even in the middle of August it is never crowded.

Bayeux and Caen are under an hours drive away and well worth a visit.

There are golf courses in Quineville and Cherbourg.

Other activities in the local area include horse riding, cycling, sea and river fishing and sailing.
